Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
