۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
