The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
