The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
