The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
