The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
