In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
