The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
