The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
