The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
