The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
