The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
