The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
