The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the sun and his early morning splendour, 1 and by the moon when she follows him, 2 and by the day as it reveals its glory 3 And by the night as it conceals it (the sun); 4 By the heaven and Him Who builded it, 5 And by oath of the earth and by oath of Him Who spread it. 6 And by oath of the soul and by oath of Him Who made it proper. 7 then inspired it to understand what was right and wrong for it. 8 He has succeeded who purifies it, 9 And miserable is he who hath buried it. 10 Samood gave the lie (to the truth) in their inordinacy, 11 When the most unfortunate of them broke forth with 12 then the Messenger of God said to them, 'The She-camel of God; let her drink!' 13 But they rejected his statement as a lie and hamstrung the she-camel. For that crime their Lord rumbled down upon them, utterly razing them to the ground. 14 He does not fear the result (of their destruction). 15
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
