The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
