The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
