Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the midmorning, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
