Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the morning brightness, 1 and the brooding night! 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
