Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and the brooding night! 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
