Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the white forenoon 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
