The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the chargers panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
