Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11

Almighty Allah's Truth.
