Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the morning brightness 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
