Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence,- 1 An apostle from Allah, reciting pure pages, 2 Within which are correct writings. 3 Those to whom the Book was given did not divide themselves until the Clear Proof came to them. 4 They were commanded only to serve God with all-exclusive faith in Him, to be upright, and to fulfil their devotional obligations, and to give zakat; for this is the even way. 5 Surely the unbelievers among the people of the Book and the idolaters, will abide in the fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. 6 But those who believe, and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creatures; 7 Their reward from their Lord will be the gardens of Eden wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever. God will be pleased with them and they will be pleased with Him. This (reward) is for those who fear their Lord. 8
