The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
