The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
