The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
