Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
