The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
