The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
