The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
