The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
