And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 "My breast will be straitened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron. 13 They have charged me [with a crime] for which I am afraid they will kill me." 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 Go to Pharaoh and say, 'We are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds, 16 [Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel."'" 17 Pharaoh said: "Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child? 18 and you did the deed which you did. You are certainly ungrateful." 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord vouchsafed me a command and appointed me (of the number) of those sent (by Him). 21 And that favour wherewith thou didst oblige me was that thou hadst enslaved the Children of Isra'il? 22 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?" 23 (Moses) said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if ye had but sure belief. 24 (Pharaoh) said unto those around him: Hear ye not? 25 Moses said: "(He is) Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers of yore." 26 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!" 27 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense." 28 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners." 29 Said Moosa, “Even if I bring to you something clear?” 30 Said he, 'Bring it then, if thou art of the truthful.' 31 He cast down his staff and thereupon it was a clear serpent. 32 Then he drew out his hand, and it was luminous to the onlookers. 33
