Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the racers, panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
