The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
