Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
