Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
