The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
