In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
