The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The Clatterer! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
