The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
