The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
