The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 It will engulf them. 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
