The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 It will engulf them. 8 in towering columns. 9
