The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
