The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
