The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9
