The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
