O People who Believe! Do not devour usury doubling and quadrupling it; and fear Allah, hoping that you achieve success. 130 And save yourselves from the fire which is prepared for disbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) that you may obtain mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten for the pardon of your Lord, and for Paradise extending over the heavens and the earth, laid out for those who take heed for themselves and fear God, 133 Those who spend (benevolently) in ease as well as in straitness, and those who restrain (their) anger and pardon men; and Allah loves the doers of good (to others). 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 (As for) these-- their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and excellent is the reward of the laborers. 136 Some traditions have been tried before you – therefore travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell those who denied. 137 This [Qur'an] is a clear statement to [all] the people and a guidance and instruction for those conscious of Allah. 138 So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers. 139 If a wound has afflicted you (at Ohud), a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust. 140 and that God may prove the believers, and blot out the unbelievers. 141 Do you think that you will enter the garden while Allah has not yet known those who strive hard from among you, and (He has not) known the patient. 142 And assuredly ye were wont to long for death ere ye had met it. Now ye are beholding it even while ye are looking on. 143
