Al-Imraan 14 of 20
O Ye who believe! devour not usury, multiplied manifold; and fear Allah, haply ye may fare well. 130 And save yourselves from the fire which is prepared for disbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger, that you may be shown mercy. And hasten to the for-giveness of your Lord and to a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the God-fearing who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 132 ۞ And vie with one another for your Lord's forgiveness and for a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, which has been prepared for the God-fearing, 133 Those who expend in weal and woe, and the repressors of rage and the pardoners of men; and Allah loveth the doers of good. 134 And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know. 135 Their reward will be forgiveness from their Lord and gardens wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever. How blessed is the reward of those who labor. 136 Divers institutions have passed away before you; journey in the land, and behold how was the end of those that cried lies. 137 This is a clear statement for men, and a guidance and an admonition to those who guard (against evil). 138 So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers. 139 If there hath befallen you a sore, a sore like thereunto hath already befallen that people. These are the haps that We change about among mankind, that Allah may know those who believe and may take martyrs from among you; and Allah loveth not the wrong doers. 140 And that Allah may test (or purify) the believers (from sins) and destroy the disbelievers. 141 Did you suppose that you would enter Paradise without Allah knowing those of you who struggled and who were patient? 142 You were longing for death before you met it; now you have seen it, while you were beholding. 143

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
